@ UW

Since 2004, I have been an assistant professor at the University of Washington in Seattle–affectionately known as UDUBB. My appointment is in the Jackson School of International Studies, which serves as the home for Jewish Studies, as well as various area studies programs and our comparative religion program.  Jewish studies program benefits tremendously  from this partnership with the Jackson School. The school’s global focus provides a unique context for our research and teaching about Jews and Judaism.
